Podcast directory For 2 years CCWF had a radio show on WXCT in Plantsville, CT with many of our members

businesses highlighted on a live broadcast. We hope to have the opportunity to

Wednesday--Dec 5th Super Networking Holiday Party.
We had Janet Peckinpaugh as our celebrity guest speaker, Joan Dylan--DJ from LITE 100.5 FM WRCH, Anne Kissel - "Roseanne Barr" Tribute Artist - Standup Comic and 20 members of the Sound of New England Chorus.

Central Connecticut Women’s Forum (www.CentralCtWomen.org) is an energetic and rapidly-growing group of professional and business women who meet (on the third Tuesday in Plainville and first Wednesday in East Windsor) of every month to network, share resources and offer support.
Members represent every level of business and industry ranging from students to vitamin distributors to corporate attorneys and each member is a valued addition to the group. Members also receive group rate discounts on insurance through the organization.
Meetings consists of an informal networking period, dinner and a speaker.
CCWF is a not for profit organization of professional and business women founded in 1984.
CCWF' s mission statement is to:
*Serve as a support and resource system for professional and business women
*Provide a forum in which women serve as tangible resources for one another by sharing experiences and insights.
*Reinforce the positive perception and image of women as equal partners in the workforce.

Our monthly speakers address a wide variety of topics aimed at helping us succeed in our businesses, relationships and everyday lives.
Reservations for the monthly meetings must be made by the deadlines listed on the website for each respective location. There is always a choice of three entrees, with coffee and dessert included. Members receive a $5 discount on their meals at either location.

Information for Guests:
· Individuals may attend a CCWF meeting as a guest once, and then they must join to attend future meetings. Applications are downloadable on the website.
· Guests are asked to send a check prior to the meeting to hold their reservations or use PayPal. Cancellations must be received no later than noon on the Friday before the meeting. Due to our contractual arrangements we cannot give refunds after this time. There is a business showcase table at all networking meetings. Bring your information.

Tips for Networking Success
Bring your business cards, brochures, samples, etc. for the “Information Exchange Table” at our next meeting.
Gather other member’s cards—you never know when you or someone you know might need their service. What goes around comes around.
Get the most from this networking opportunity; give the people you meet something to remember you by.
